A jolly Faire. A shocking murder. Can this furtive fairy outsmart the killer?

Coriander the Conjurer is trapped in a cursed Renaissance Faire, and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her. But this fairy fortune teller veers off course when a corpse turns up in her storage wagon. While her bestie rots in jail for a crime she didn’t commit, the actual murderer walks free…

When a stolen unicorn horn leads her investigation into the protected realm of the Fae, Coriander must make promises that might prove too big to keep. She’ll need the help of a wily vampire, a brilliant blacksmith, and her meddling toad familiar to uncover the real killer. As her helpers disappear one by one, the case spirals out of control.

Can timid Coriander face the terrifying truth, or will her snooping seal a fate worse than death?

Fairy Wives of Windsor is the fourth book in the humorous paranormal cozy series, Magical Renaissance Faire Mysteries. If you like snarky heroines, supernatural misfits, and a splash of romance, then you’ll love Trixie Silvertale’s whirlwind whodunit.

Fairy Wives of Windsor by Trixie Silvertale takes us back to the Magical Renaissance Faire as Coriander deals with things.

Can Coriander get Fraxi out of jail and the real killer in jail?

Coriander is tasked to get her best friend, a wood nymph, out of jail. To do that, she needs to figure out who the killer is, which isn’t always the most straightforward task. Coriander and her friends set out to solve the mystery. I think Coriander is coming into her own even more and is trying not to allow her past to decide how she must be now. Coriander, and us readers, discover a lot more about what’s going on in the fairy realm that’s part of the Faire. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for Coriander.

Fairy Wives of Windsor CR

The Mystery

We have serval mysteries going on at the same time. The first mystery is why anyone would kill Windsor, the second mystery is about Coriander’s real family, and the last mystery is what is going on with the Faire and can the inhabitants fix it. The last one isn’t solved in this installment, as it seems like more mysteries are needed to follow after these latest three. I felt I knew who did it after a bit of reading, and I’m so glad to have been proven right! Just not for the reason or motive. I can’t say much about the second mystery, but you should read the book to find out!

Five Stars

I am giving five stars to Fairy Wives of Windsor by Trixie Silvertale and recommend it to anyone who loves a paranormal mystery. Being in Ms. Silvertale’s world, or at least her corner of the world she created with Ms. Johnson and Ms. Nelson, is awesome. I always love returning to these books and seeing where the Faire has taken them. I am happy to say that this time I am living in the same state as these books, and that is pretty fantastic. Ms. Silvertale has a knack for entrancing the reader with her words, and I completely lost track of time in her books.
